Founded in 1867 in Saint Petersburg, Kusmi became one of the most famous Russian firms, supplying the czar's court with high quality tea blends. A couple of years later the company developed in Europe: London, Berlin and Paris in 1917. Founder’s son Viatcheslav, forced into exile during the October Revolution, established the Parisian headquarters at 75 avenue Niel. Since then, Kusmi Tea settled down in many places from New-York to Tokyo, much to the delight of experts and gourmets.
