It will soon be time to remove the excess layers and allowing our skin to feel the warmer feel of the Spring Summer air. However, that isn’t the best part of welcoming a new season.
Looking at the top trends straight from the catwalk, the men’s Spring Summer ’16 trends is infused with 50s inspiration, as well as much more muted colors and modern shapes. We have listed together some of the top trends to look for Spring/Summer 2016.
Many fashionable eras have been welcomed in our latest seasons. However, for Spring Summer 2016, our collection was inspired by the trends throughout the fifties. Having a much more relaxed and oversized look, the fifties inspired t-shirts are great for this season.
Using darker and muted colors, including navy, cream, and powders hues, combining colors this season is a great look.
For a fifty inspired look, we love our Crew Neck Tee with Oversize Straps Burgundy. Men’s braces were a popular look in the 1950s, and with our modern adaptation of males braces, our Burgundy Crew Neck Tee is perfect for achieving this look. Designed with a crew neck our burgundy t-shirt can be teamed perfectly with a pair of chino shorts or jeans.
Overalls have been popular even throughout the Autumn Winter; however for Spring Summer mechanic-like overalls are a key look. Designed with darker and cool tones including denim, khaki greens, and dark blacks, overalls look great teamed with a white scoop neck t-shirt and a pair of trainers.
For the summer season, when the weather becomes a little warmer, overalls still look great teamed with a plain vest and the leg to be slightly rolled up.
Why not team a pair of overalls with our Modal-Blend Crew Neck T-shirt in White. Designed with a loose fit, the plain design would work perfectly with a pair of khaki overalls.
Another inspiration from the 50s, the bomber jacket is back. Perfect for casual days to look cool and casual, bomber jackets are perfect to be worn as a light jacket.
Unfortunately, our weather can be slightly temperamental, so keeping a light jacket is key. Although a practical move, it doesn’t mean you can’t add a little style. Designed with the muted Spring/Summer tones, a bomber jacket can be teamed with almost anything.
We love our Supima Cotton Henley, perfectly suited to a navy or green colored bomb, for a great summer evening look.
Slightly shorter for this season, shorts are a great look for this season. However, moving away from the muted styles for Spring/Summer, keep shorts in bright and summery prints. Great for the beach, holiday or on hot days, team with a plain vest or buttoned down shirt.
